Well folks, it seems like world leading global warming research(propaganda) group the Climatic Research Unit center in United Kingdom has had some very embarrassing information leaked after and equally embarrassing hack.

The CRA has confirmed that the hacked information appears to be legit. The hacker made the file public on a Russian PFT and issued a statement something a long the lines of "I feel this information is to important to be kept a secret." You can find the real quote some where out there easily enough.

Good catch! I appreciate the attention to detail

The fact is, I wrote that sentence for Antonia a little too fast. Yes, the Dead Hills were already there and Kyle Bayle carved out a chunk of them to create his doomed kingdom. This was early in the age of Turmoil just as Vhalen had indicated. I'll fix up that last sentence so it matches the timeline, and you'll get to hear more of his story eventually.

As a change of subject, because I happen to like Tyranny peoples, and I have no bones to pick with Valhalla peoples, and for the most part, i'd like to think i get along with most people on Oasis, I am providing this thread as a neutral distraction from the very entertaining -yet silly epeen threads nearbye.

I am interested in hearing raiding guild's various success and failure stories and just how close things came in TSO.

For example:

I think it was our second kill of Gozak, and it was messy..... very messy. I'm still unclear of how it was pulled off , but Gozak ate our 3rd avatar, then he ate a fourth, the adds piled up, people were dropping left and right. We had someone pull a 5th avatar out of their ass, and somehow Gozak dies with only 8 people left alive in the raid.
I'm pretty sure that was our closet margin of victory ever.

I'll have to add the most embarssing failure I can remember recently is getting our butts blown up on a auto-fail event on anashti when she was at 2%.

Now i know we all assume Tyranny kills all TSO mobs in under 1:30, but we should know better that even Tyranny has some spectacular feats where they snatched victory from defeat, or where the raid leaders came close to emo cutting, due to a monumental failure.

And I know damn well there ought to be some interesting stories from other guilds as well, so let's hear it.

The $15 a month you pay to play will never compare to the moments you'll lose and the people you will inevitably shortchange by immersing yourself in this time sink. There is so much more outside of this game to be done and to be seen. So many people have fallen into this comatose trap of gaming and the pixelated rewards they receive in return for countless hours of wide eyed mouse clicks and pointless key pounding. This applies to most everyone regardless of being a hardcore player or the super casual variety.

I know there will be countless naysayers and trolls who will attack this in order to minimize my actual message but it really doesn't matter to me. I had no traumatic, lifechanging, or otherwise thoughtprovoking experience occur in order to come to this realization- just a simple *click* one day when I went to log in. I have a great amount of fondness for everyone of you that I had the chance to speak with and meet over the many years I played this game. Some of the greatest humor and perspective I've ever had the fortune of encountering was a direct result of being a part of this community. That being said, I have no regrets for the time spent with you all. I really hope this small gesture gets through to some of you- afterall, I have nothing to gain except the hope that a handful of you might experience that same *click*.

At any rate, im not exactly sure how raising taxes on medical equipment, employer health care and non profit hospitals among MANY other things is going to lower the cost of care. But w/e. Maybe rationing womens breast and cervical exams will help!:!

On the other hand, all the new taxes will go into affect immediately after/if he bill is signed but the new programs wont start until 2014. Strangely, it is still going to rape the national debt in ways that we dont even know how we would ever pay off.

K im just trying to figure out a Casting order, and all of you old time Illys still use the old spell names.

Ive got most of them figured out using profits info center, except one.

WTF spell is Drain Consciousness?

the profit info center says its a lvl 72 spell that stifles and drains power from the illusionists target

Only thing close that i can think of is Speechless, a level 72 spell, however it says nothing about draining power. Did they nerf this spell?
