Ok, I apologize for saying you havent killed an Avatar then, if I was wrong about that.
But, as I explained over the course of hundreds of pages after The Rumbler incident, I'm no longer interested in arguing about whether "questionable" exploits are allowed or not.
These types of things are wrong - everyone should know these things are either exploits or violate the rules of EQ2:
1. Botting by using 3rd party software to automate your character, either for adventure leveling, farming, or tradeskills, so your character is being "played" while you are away from the keyboard.
2. Buying or selling coin or accounts outside of the Station Exchange system (except if you work for IGE, then it is apparently no longer wrong to do these things if SoE hires you after you do them).
3. Duping coin or items.
4. Improperly manipulating game mechanics to beat an encounter or get loot from it.
Other than that, my position is that it's SoE's responsibility to produce a game that doesn't have the type of problems that require an advanced degree in Philosophy to determine whether or not doing something in game would be an exploit.
It is Sunday morning, and perhaps I've forgotten something in the 4 item list I just typed out above, but I don't think so, and those are the major exploits/no-nos.
After all the bullshit with The Rumbler, I've said numerous times that technical exploits such as the Rumbler aren't worth arguing about. I'm no longer interested in arguing about whether people should do an encounter if it is bugged and perhaps easier than normal. Problems like that only exist because SoE didn't do it's job, and therefore put players in a position where we are arguing about things we should never have had to deal with in the first place.
So if it's possible to do in game and doesn't involve one of the four items I listed above, I have no opinion on whether it is an exploit or not if someone else does it.
And, you have not seen me type one word to the contrary since December. I really don't give a shit what other people do in game except for those four bad things I specified above, since any retard should know those things are cheating and not allowed.
I also have repeatedly stated since the Rumbler that I admitted exploiting in that case, therefore I had no business calling other people out on similar questionable exploits in the future.
So, just like you telling me I don't know what I'm talking about when I said you've never killed an avatar, you really shouldn't comment on things when you don't know what you are talking about because you obviously only skim or read very old threads. I haven't said anything like what you are talking about in MONTHS.
