-Take the TS griffon to the OT station, and jump at the river. He is right there.

::> Speak with Vilma Abatro, -575, -15, -305 (Outside Keep of the Ardent Needle)

::> Speak with Velric Torch.

::> Gather 5 salty tears.
-These can be found on the bank of the river directly beside Velric.

::> Deliver the letters.

::> Capture a crawler hatchling (Mortartoe Mines)
-I found several near -700, 130, -240
*EDITOR'S NOTES: You can only enter these mines from the entrance by the Chessboard.*

::> Speak with Maertha Pulzer.

::> Find Kargail, -360, 190, 510
-Once you near the spawn point, he will start running from the docks to the given loc.
]> Speak with Kargail.
]> Release the spider. (In your inventory, right click and use)
]> Pick up the spider.
-The spider will roam around the corpse for a few moments, and then will stop. Pick it up then.

::> Speak with Maertha Pulzer.

::> Release the hatchling, -825, 100, -175 (Mortartoe Mine Entrance)
-This location is near the place you found the hatchling in the previous part of the quest. Let it fly, and watch the carnage.

A Necessary Step[55]

Greater Faydark

::> Speak with Xilania Nevagon.

::> Capture a shrumbler hatchling, 120, -50, -350 (Southwest Caves of Nursery)
-Right click and 'use' the net that appeared in your inventory on one of the shrumblers.

::> Fish a sandsponge, -350, 70, -760. (The Nursery Coastline)
-I found the sponge at this location, just off the coast, but it may spawn in other locations.
]> Right click and gather the sandsponge.
]> Kill the sandsponge that spawns.
]> Pick up the hatchling (non-attackable) that spawns.

::> Release the hatchling, -125, -40, -790 (The Nursery)
-Once you release it, it will search for a spirit. It will go off, find one, and respawn as "a frustrated shrumbler hatchling", and come to you. Gut it, and you will receive the update.

-Step onto the center of the spires, and a wisp will spawn above your head; right click it, and empower the crystal.

::> Capture a Sareth'Tal, 90, 75, 180 (South of Wolf's Maw)
-I found many Sareth'Tal around the location. Just right click and use the Culler (must be in melee range) on one of the spirits.

::> Retrieve the beacon, 220, 90, 70 (West of Previous Location)
-When you release the spirit anywhere, it leads you to that location. When the spirit reaches it, it will spawn the beacon. Pick it up.

::> Speak with Tanath L'Vec.

Summons a limited pet to aid the caster.

Charms target.
Applies Innoruuk's Hate on termination.

Malevolent Wail (1379 Favour)

Mesmerizes target.
Applies Rupture on termination.
-Inflicts 5587-8381 heat damage on target.

Dispelled when target takes damage.
Dispelled when target takes damage.
Epic targets gain an immunity to mesmerize effects of 1 minute 12 seconds and duration is reduced to 8.0 seconds.
Resistability increases against targets higher than level 90.


Vengeance's Decree (1552 Favour)

When target dies this spell will cast Seething Vengeance on caster. Lasts for 10.0 seconds.
-Caster will double attack on 15.0% of melee attacks.
-Increases attack speed of caster by 15.0.
-Increases melee crit chance of caster by 15.0%.
-Increases casting speed of caster by 50%.
-Applies Vengeance's Departure on termination.
