My biggest complaint about NGD (and basically what all my friends said as well, including my hostile friend who started this post :smiley-happy: ), is that we felt like outcasts on the SoE forums in large part because of NGD. We felt like we weren't welcome there.
And that's why I'm proposing a big, huge, sociological experiment: Let's see if we all have the maturity, despite our differences, to (a) each be able to do what we want in this section, while (b) respecting other people's right to do what they want also.
As clearly stated in the easy to read rules above, and I promise it will take most of you less than 1 minute to read them, you can start any kind of post in this forum, and the person who starts the post gets to call "shotgun" about what is and isn't allowed in that post.
So what I'm saying is, NGD people should feel welcome here to do whatever they liked doing in NGD, even though I never quite understood that myself. Serious hardcore raiders and all other concieveable types of people in the known universe must not fuck with, harrass, grief, or disrupt whatever NGD people want to do within their own posts.
Similarly, serious hardcore raiders and all other types of people who want to start serious posts about serious issues have the serious right to do that in this section also, seriously. NGD people must not fuck with, harrass, grief, spam bump, or disrupt what the non-NGD people want to do within their own posts.
I believe that if we can make this work here, maybe SoE can do something similar on its own forums and then everyone can feel welcome there again, and not like some people are more welcome than others. That's why I need everyone to not intentionally fuck with anyone else's rights in this section, even if you hate each other, and it's fine with me if you do. Because if this isn't possible, I lose all faith in humanity and simply give up on every system except pure anarchy, and I'm not ready to do that yet.
And I swear to God, if I have to take a week off work to babysit this shit so that we can all live together within this section of this message board, I'm prepared to do that.
