To setup a timer that takes into account most (if not all) the buffs that can augment your auto attack damage so a person can more efficiently time their auto attacks?


I was thinkin today that its almost impossible for me to adjust to all the different haste scenarios to do with timing auto attacks.

It would be easier for me to watch a timer with my Mainhand slashing and Offhand piercing weapons to watch a timer and see how much time i have before my next auto attack (with DW it could be > 5 between auto attacks).

Hmnn.... May be a great plugin.. if its possible.

Is it even possible to track those spells to begin with? Take Cacophony of Blades(54%)... I don't know of any emote in logs that I can track it with. Take the proc from Engulfing Rage(28%)... I don't see any emotes for that either. The list probably goes on.

I once tried to get somewhere with a high resolution timer... it tracked things like how late a melee swing was etc. In the end I didn't finish it because of several factors like temporary haste and high CPU usage of GUI drawing.
