I agree, that as soon as a tank figures out to order their combat arts in order of resistability, holding aggro at the beggining is't so hard anymore.

So you're saying that you have 5-6 people already attacking before the mob even touches the tank on ranged pulls? That's the only way that they would be equal. That'd happen on multitudes of trash pulls, wouldn't it?

Also take pet pulling something from a distance that has a long range AE that hits the raid(maybe a dot). You're saying you have 5-6 people attacking the mob from 50-100m away?

I'm sorry that I'm being sarcastic, but to me you're being short sighted.

I don't think its short sighted.

If certain classes know what their doin (finger over the hideaway button or tank who knows how to hold aggro), then attacking during pull isn't that big of a deal.

I 90% of the time attack either the moment the mob gets close enough to skewer (short range in stealth attack) or just throw a couple hammers his way (flashy throw, double attack ranged combat art + 1 auto attack).

I said most, not all. The exceptions would obviously be pet pulls or prox pulls where mobs might social but that'd make up 1% of the content, thus making it not worth your time to implement.

Most of the time it's tank bow pulls, followed by 5-6 scouts bow shotting as well along with a bunch of mages nuking.

Would take less time to implement than I have spent on this thread, I'm sure... but the fact that people are actually fighting the idea makes me wonder why I bothered...
