Default Inquisition

I don't know if there's anything you can do about it, but whenever I cast inquisition on the mob, the heals count towards the enemy's heal parse.

I cannot yet find anything in the log files that would indicate who is casting the debuff. Nothing showed up when I tested it in beta at least.

I have no idea how you could get this to work, allthough it would be nice if you did. The spell basically makes the mob heal your raid, and if most of your guys are right up on the mob, it is a very fat HoT indeed.

Take that, heal parse whorin shamens.

The pet uses a 50/50 intercede type buff(Master I was at least in beta). So you could say that the amount of damage it takes, it is also preventing from others. You could say that, but you would be slightly wrong.

Both sides of the intercede use different mitigation... so instead of looking at the amount the Ancestral Sentry takes in damage, you look at the amount the interceded person takes. The damage taken by the Ancestral Sentry would be an overestimation, but isn't extremely far off... and would be easier to look for.

ACT automatically calculating this has the same problem that Inquisition has.

(1196829152)[Tue Dec 04 23:32:32 2007] Venril Sathir hits Ancestral Sentry for 8292 slashing damage.
(1196829152)[Tue Dec 04 23:32:32 2007] Venril Sathir hits Santios for 3511 slashing damage.

So VS hits the Ancestral Sentry for 8292 and Santios for 3511. Essentially the Ancestral Sentry took 3511 damage from Santios where he would have taken 7022 normally. Easy enough to calculate... however, can you tell me who the Mystic is? The data simply isn't there, thus there is no easy way to attribute it to someone.

As a side note, the spell also intercedes power drains.

Given that the heal is coming from the mob to the raid i dont think that their is a way to for the parser to see it and asign to the right inquis... say if you got two in raid and such.

basically i go look at outgoing from the mob and cry... its a big number...

It doesn't say whose debuff Inquisition is when the Inquisitor casts it on the mob?

IE, make a trigger that does something like:

>Inquis XX casts Inquisition on the mob

>ACT catches that cast

>ACT records all of Mob XX's Inquisition heals to Inquis XX

>If another Inquisitor casts Inquisition it resets the process to record the new Inquisition heals to the most recent caster of Inquisition.

Debuffs usually follow first cast, first used rules when multiple debuffs that do the same thing are present.

Find evidence otherwise and I'll try to make something...

Hmm, I'll see if I can find the exact wording it uses.
