Default Crits...

This might just be more trouble than it's worth, but I was wondering if it would be possible to split standard hits and crit hits or provide an option to. I'd really like to see the difference between average damage and crit damage on both melee and CA's. While I understand the theory behind the way crits are supposed to work I'm rather interested in how it actually works out. With all the new items that are going melee more options (double attack, crits, CA damage) I'd like to be able to fine-tune my parse to look for more appealing setups.

Just a thought

Default Re: Crits...

I sort of understand critical hit calculations, though I don't often pay attention to it. (I'm a Templar)

The formula changes depending on the type of attack, which ACT can't always detect. Would it be best to simply calculate the average hit by removing all critical hits from the calculation? It would absolutely have to be an option because for instance, as a Templar I can easily get over 100% critical melee.

It's harder to recalculate critical hits into normal hits because that would require knowing the normal range of the attack in the case of auto-attack and spells. CAs are simple to recalc though.
