Default ACT Question - Timers with TS

I know that this has been probably answered before, so i'm either looking for a link or a quick explanation. Here's the issue.

There is a mob whose AA doesn't get picked up as being extended by ACT, though it does actually get extended. Right now I manually time the AE. So, i have ACT set up to pick up TS when it lands, if the AE goes off while TS is still active I hit my manual timer for 150% of the AE time. If the AE goes off without TS on I just use the normal timer that gets picked up on ACT.

Is there anyway to work around this issue so I dont need to manually time it when TS hits?

If the mob you are talking about has an apostrophe in its name, go to the Data Correction Tab and play around with it there. That should solve your problems with the AEs being timed.

Of course, if that's not your problem, then I don't know what is, because I only have that problem when the mob kills everybody with TS up on the mob and I don't pick them up as dying in the logs.

There's the other problem of ACT not picking up Tenure too.
I believe there is a plug-in for that.

The mob in question specifically is the last one in protectors realm. Manually timing it never results in any issues with killing the thing, its just annoying. He does have an apostrophe in his name so that may be it. Ill check it out when I get home from work, thanks

Trust me, the above fixes it. I've had this issue, and posted about it over on the ACT boards, and then Aditu decided to add the Data Correction tab which includes handling Apostrophes, which fix the issues with the Timers. For everybody's information who care to think about, the problem is, Traumatic Swipe hits Bob's Pal, while the AE is considered coming from Bob. Which is why Traumatic is never picked up on the AE which is now called Pal's AE OF DOOM, rather than just AE OF DOOM.

Thanks for the info here, I was having a similar problem in TPR. I did search for a thread on the data correction tab but couldnt find one on exactly how to use it - can someone link to or provide instructions?

If you look at the tab, it should really be self explanatory. Where it talks about apostrophe names, type in Imzok's Revenge and press Add Correction. Now when ACT sees that mob in combat, it will no longer attempt to split the name at the apostrophe 's'.

That also means that it will correct the names of the skills that are being parsed from him. If you previously had any spell timers for "Revenge's Sebilisian Torrent" or whatever it was, you will have to recreate the timer to not include "Revenge's", since that is not actually part of the skill name.

There will be other mobs to add to the list like Atrebe's Statue.
