i cant see any in my german logs

my logs show no doubleattack, they dont even seam to show crits atm

either i or soe totally fucked up

(my english logs from testserver seem fine crits and doubleattack are logged there)

when you double-attack (first person) you get something along the lines of "während ihr eure waffe zurückzieht, prügelt ihr nochmal auf XXX ein" or the like.. exact wording sent to aditu by mail as already stated

i dont know whether this is different for .us versions but eq2 doesnt log double-attacks by other players

thats how its in my log, there is absolutely no indication of the double or aoe attacks

Hm, I'm not quite sure that's the same thing. Part of the point of GU44 for the English servers was that information was in the attack line itself.

Curuw is pointing out such is not the case in his logs. Not that I can remember if German localization even allows for critical hits at the moment.

Avoidance descriptive text is somewhat difficult in English to begin with. It should be exceptionally strange in German given the history. Except it looks untranslated thus far.

Apparently parts of special attack avoidance are translated. I'm not sure if I wish to fix the avoidance parsing for the sake of the avoidance report, or leave it for now and hope more gets translated... especially lines that read, "Rargulol versucht den Missgunst zu Hiebwaffen, aber Missgunst parries the double attack parries the double attack." If only I were misquoting it...



And I'm starting to worry about that "Als Ihr Eure Waffe zurückzieht" thing... if that's truly the only way they're going to express double attacks, they may as well not have bothered. It doesn't look like anything appears for 3rd person attacks. I really hope that they are still working on it.

could you at least supply some initial fix for the "für" --> "mit" change in the logs to allow us tracking the others dps for now? the localization team has been always quite slow on such things (they just recently fixed a translation-based bug that was introduced with RoK(!!!) with LU44)

as for crits...

1st person CA-crits are displayed:

EUER Effekt "Windender Schlag" trifft kritisch Ärger für: 422 Mental-Schaden.

while autoattack hits arent at all:

IHR trefft den Ärger für: 930 Schlagwaffen-Schaden.

(that WAS a crit, given the fact that i had 108% meleecrit at that point)

afaik this problem has been around before, were crits and non-crits have the same text, yet internally the messages are posted to the correct chat-window when you have different tabs for hits and crits. obviously thats nothing we as external logparsers can distinguish but well... translation sucks very bad yet again


reminds me... do US servers get messages for damage-crits from other players? because iirc act did only show your own critical hits in the crit-row since EoF because the translation didnt supply that information from others

for the ""Als Ihr Eure Waffe zurückzieht"" thing... i havent had that log line since. thats really strange. i did some autoattacking on grey mobs in front of SoF (too bad for them i had camped there) and got that message. then i moved to JW and killed some turtles and didnt get that message. as for another 3h raid with 50% doubleattack, i havent gotten the message again, not even once, so that may be some... whatever, but i just realized i havent gotten the message since i moved away from those fear-mobs in front of SoF
