Default Radial timer display not overwriting

Last night i looted a Woven Shadow Breastplate, the proc on breastplate places a detrimental maintained effect on the mob you're targeting that triggers a mental base attack whenever that mob is attacked 3% of the time. On raids its going off all the time, and the Mindbite (mental attack proc'd off the breastplates detrimental) still breaks stealth. While i have been told the fix for that is coming next hotfix, i have to deal with it as best i can until that goes in. So i wanted to set up a Radial timer display that will be a visual indicator for my ability to launch stealth based attacks, especially concealment. After creating the trigger/timer and opening the display i found that in cases where the proc was overwritten the timer would not be reset to the full 10 second duration. How can i set it up to overwrite properly? Or is it even possible?

In game link of the item below.

No, that's not possible.

DoT tick detection has to work somehow, and I saw no reason to time things with less than 10 second recasts.
