ACT and Vista64

Hope this ain't a known problem, but I haven't found something here... since I changed my PC and switched from XP to Vista64, I encounter one problem. ACT runs fine, Vista working smooth... the only thing is that I dont get parsed data automatically. Every time I start or I switch chars I have to stop and re-start /log to make ACT work... though everything seems to be set up as it should. Any ideas?!?

Try to run it with administrator privileges: Rightclick -> Preferences -> Compatiblity -> Run as Administrator, or something.

that's what I already do (for ACT, eq2map, TS and EQ2 as well) 'cause otherwise you'll encounter more problems than you can handle...

Vista breaks some functionality with the FileSystemWatcher class in the .NET Framework. ACT uses such a thing to check if it should load a different log file in the case of character switching. It used to use the same thing in order to know when to load new data in the current log file, but I had to use a different method just because of this issue.

Are you having problems with ACT reading the log file it has open already?

When I start playing or switch chars, I have to either use /log twice (stop & re-start logging) or wait for a long time to get things started.

Once ACT starts parsing, it works fine until I switch chars.
