ACT crashing and other issues
Lately (and not all the time) I've had issues with ACT crashing randomly during combat. As well as random crashes, I lose the ability to copy/paste anything outside of a combat parse -- ie copying a line of text from anything and trying to paste it anywhere, when I attempt to paste nothing is pasted until I close ACT.
On top the previous two issues I get insane random lag while running the program including the times when I'm not running EQ2 at all, as well as in game with logging on. Something else I've noticed is that I am unable to make my computer properly restart/shut-down unless I close the ACT process completely (which I've also noticed on a completely different machine).
I've attempted to uninstall and reinstall, download newer versions, clear all logs and start fresh -- anything I can think of and still get the same issues. I understand ACT can cause a fair amount of lag/fps drops while running EQ2 and I can see a considerable amount of performance difference with the program on/off -- that is not my concern. My concern/question is whether or not this is a common occurrence or if there is anything I can do to correct these issues.
