Default Client side lag post LU 46

Since the release of the new version of ACT and the release of LU 46 I have been getting problems with client side lag.

Before these two things occured ( read last week, I was on a business trip so I came back and did both updates @ the same time) I would run EQ2 and ACT with no lag nor any other problems at all, but post updating to current versions I've been getting severe client side lag when running ACT.

Have anyone else encountered any similar problems?

That link only has links for the updates, still need the base download of an older version.

I could ask what's the difference, but there's no reason to ask you. There is no difference.

The only file that changes with each version is the main application EXE, which those files contain. Simply do what the post tells you to do.

Ahhh... I misinterpreted what the other post said then:

Quote:
Place these files into ACT's folder and execute. They are nothing more than self extracting archives. They do not contain all files that a normal installation would and should not be used alone.
I assumed the opposite. Now I understand what to do, install the new version and install the update over the newer version to replace the exe.

Thanks a lot and sorry for the misinterpretation.
