GW models lack the animation and detail that is present in Aion. As far as appearance goes, a lot of the potential was lost thanks to terrible creativity from ArenaNet, such as throwing a different texture on the same model, much like robes are in EQ2. Every now and then, there's a really good design, but it's still that same robe.
