Default How has the game changed, since launch?

Just wondering how the game has changed since launch. I played for a couple days, got to 20, and gave up.

    More quests?

    Increased exp?

Aionâ„¢ Online :: Notices - Aion v1.9 Secretive Meeting Notes
    is a future patch.

There's been a bunch of subtle changes since going live but the big ones were 2 double exp weekends per month and black/white dye (at least for me it was~)

Was reading the notes and alot of it looks really cool.

I like how they will add a stun immunity to everyone "7sec duration" not sure about the cd, not being to anything while you die is pretty gay even from my PoV as a player who uses it whenever the situation presents itself.

I always thought that logging out while you were rifting should send you back to your hometown when you log in anyways so thats fine by me.

    Lots of cool sounding changes

well, just read the patch notes.

7 sec stun immunity plus stunbreak plus combo skill after that for all classes will make assassins kind of useless unless you outgear people and kill them with damage in 5 seconds.
Glad i quit, otherwise i would need to be angry now.

Is something thats needed. Well geared sins are pretty much killing everyone but templars with their chickenshit ambushing from hide. Hopefully this balances it out some. Wouldnt hurt my feelings if every sin in the game quit or rerolled.

right, because no other class can just randomly jump you and destroy you?

the beginning of the fight has a lot to do with the outcome - its not just assassins that gain an advantage from starting combat - it's just easier for them to GET that advantage due to stealth. And sins are still very crippled in the air and mass pvp.. Ganking 1v1 is basically our best bet for ap gain.

get better at reacting quickly, that might help.. an assassin is pretty much always gonna prebuff with at least Flurry before ambushing you, and a chanter legionmate of mine has been practicing with throwing up protective ward as a reflex to that.. it heavily reduces the damage you take from the initial burst and lets you have time to play afterwards. Stun > Recovery Spell > Knockdowns > Recovery Spell > blah. Chanter can easily outlast a sin if they dont die in the first few seconds.

edit: forgot to mention if you stack magic resist like alot of the level 50s do, we'll almost never be able to hit you with a rune burst. Sin magical accuracy is generally pretty low, and all of our rune bursts (aka one of our stuns + aether hold + 2 heals for example) use M-Acc to see if they go thru or not. I've had to put Oath of Accuracy back into a stigma slot just for the +500 M-Acc when its up, so that maybe I can actually rune burst someone with ~1700 MR :P

Well then, Oath of Accuracy makes MR useless to people that use it then.

not really Ken, cos the duration / cooldown aren't too friendly. it lasts 20 seconds, and the cooldown is 5 minutes.. so still quite a lot of time that it isn't available

There's a few clerics with 1800 MR on Lumiel and I can't fuckin touch em, most of the time even WITH oath but certainly not without it.
