Why bother download a beta client when the demo is to be released in five days?

Some people would rather be sending in bug reports, and submitting genuine feedback to improve different aspects of the game that won't be seen in the demo. Others want to sit back and just play demo's. Each to there own.

The beta is Multiplayer only, while the demo will be single player only, big difference don't you think?

I mean, of course, everyone who will download the beta will be doing so because they want to actually find and help fix bugs, won't they? I mean, it's not like it's one of the biggest fanboy titles to be released this year or anything.

Everyone who will download the beta will be playing Multiplayer you dumb fuck, and thats why people download it on top of "beta testing", that's why I posted about the BETA.

It's not the same as the demo, you see multiplayer mode has actual rl people your fighting, on teams to compete against, if I wanted to share that the single player demo was being released 5 days from my OP I would have done so.

So any reviews on this game yet? Some videos Ive seen on youtube were absolutely amazing. Best graphics Ive ever seen in a game.

Multiplayer is sort of mixed. It has its niche but it wont replace things like the BF series, CS:S or TF2. It was simply ok, not fantastic.

The Singleplayer Demo is a good indicator of what really makes the game shine. May as well put it up there along with HL and HL2 in terms of an epic singleplayer experience.

In both MP and SP I got an average 30FPS on a AMD4000+ (2.41 ghz) with 7600gt on low detail @ 1280x1024. Low detail (no shadows/shaders) is very tolerable at that res IMO. Bumping up shadows/shaders to medium (even with everything else on low) STILL puts crysis at top in terms of graphics. Going all high (if you can) is just amazing.

If you have a system like mine (or better) and enjoy FPS's, the demo is worth the download.

Loved the single player demo - played about 30fps with max detail on my system and looked unbelievably good. Thick underbrush was thick and not repetitive, trees could be used for cover with leaves etc. Enemy AI was far too intelligent for comfort (shooting from cover, flanking, working as a team, etc.) and overall was a quite challenging experience from the usual shooter.

The ending scene of the demo skipped a lot on my system however - probably with all the cold effects. Have to wait for the real game to test this one out.
