But if I started something as important as Ogaming or Thottbot, I wouldn't give it to people who trash the community, not for any amount of money.
The previous statement is my opinion, as is the following.
A true gamer doesn't play to make money. Exception being: employees of game companies, magazines, tournaments, etc. You get my point.
Botters and farmers aren't real gamers. Not in my world. I never woke up one day and said " Let's farm all this stuff so I can buy food for my family" or " Let's smoke those mofos and take their gear so we can sell it."
Gaming isn't supposed to be a job. Yes, I know things have changed a lot, and peoples points of view are all over the place, and I respect that. But me, personally....I play games to avoid all the bullshit that comes with life. Taxes, politics, STD's. Oh and people from Illinois.
THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS THREAD, so back on topic.
If I had to choose again between WoW and EQ2, there would be a few deciding factors.
1. WoW because of the nonexistant TLC, diversity in gear, and the low pressure gameplay.
2. EQ2 because of the community, the "more realistic" graphics, and Gaige. Probably Grind and Ixnay too.
