yea i agree with you on this one Ramp, ezmode it is, but all those high end guild you mention that used all these addons, ask them if they ever cleared naxx, or how long did it take them to first clear aq40? thats ezmode for ya.

AQ40, for guilds who played it when it was released, was not a hard instance. Almost every single guild EASILY made it to Huhuran. Huhuran was tought because it was the first encounter in the game that was released that was HEAVILY nature resist dependant. After that Twin emps was difficult because of how only melee can DPS one, and only casters can DPS the other, and they have to go down at about the same rate and everyone has to live - I will admit, that is a good hard encounter, but most of the difficulty came from players not experiencing it before. C'thun was gotten to withing the first 2-3 weeks but was bugged and was unkillable for over a month and a half. If not AQ40 would have been beaten in under a month because the second it was hot fixed it was taken down. Also did I mention, that more than half of the classes in the game don't even want the tier 2.5 that drops from AQ because it isn't as good as full tier 2 set bonuses? You want to make fun of EQ2 itemization. When blizzard has months between to develop ONE zone without increasing level caps and they still fuck up itemization thats sad.

Naxxaramas I can't really argue with though - they very good, driven guilds, got to FHM in about a month - which is amazing imo and took over a month before they were even killed which is amazing game design. Though FHM should have been the KT of the zone due to the fact that after FHM were downed, Saph and KT were both killed within a week and a half :l

EDIT: In order to make you understand my post easier - AQ40 has 9 bosses, the last 3 go in order Huhuran, Twin emps, C'thun. And Naxxaramas has 15 bosses, with (generally speaking because FHM doesn't have to be the 3rd last boss you kill, it is just the most difficult before the Frostwyrm Wing) the last 3 bosses being FHM, Saph, and KT.

For one last arguement about progression - You do not need to clear MC to beat Razorgore - you do not need to clear BWL to get up to Fankriss in AQ40 - and fuck, you can fucking SKIP ALL OF AQ40 and just do Naxx because the beginning bosses of the wings drop better, and are easier than fucking AQ40 lol.
