I never bought BF2 because of the bugs I heard it was filled with. Reading up on 2142 I heard it too, that it's more like an expansion, or the same game with new skins. I can't justify the money for a semi-expansion. I spent all my cash on Dark Messiah and NwN2 this month anyway :D

I got a few friends that play bf2 that got the demo and they say it blows... I might try it out but im not sure yet. But if any of you got bf2, and are a good with the TV missle in the chopper, message hazephyre on xfire and ill show you some sick flying :P

The EMP is about the only thing that really makes this game different than bf2. Also I wish they would allow players to make MODS for ranked servers... Instead we have to deal with crappy buggy EA mods that we have to pay for... aka 2142.

Yeah the rank bugging is being annoying now and then but for the most part it's refreshing.

Ive been playing BF2142 a little, i still prefer BF2 though because its more realistic, but thats probably a personal thing. The Titan mode is a cool feature though, name in BF2142 is pretty obvious: NPU Sardonis.
