Battlefield 2142

I know it's not an MMO-RPG... but It's still pretty much an MMO. Anyone here play this or any of the Battlefield series? 2142 is pretty sweet and I'm curious what are your thoughts.

I don't see how you can call it the same game different skin. Titan mode is way different and fun as hell.

I like the diversity in the unlocks too.

Pretty good game, Titan mode is a badass new mode. Unreal 2007 will be better though.

i played the BF series from BF1942 thru the Mod Desert Combat, then BF2 and now 2142. its a fun game but right now there are allot of bugs in it but thats typical EA fasion.

I havn't played it yet, was just makeing assumptions about it like when people say WoW sucks but only leveled to 10.

In regards to the in-game advertising, (Which I have not yet seen after 4 days of play)... apparently the game just uses your IP to find out your region, and gives you advertisements geared towards your local area, in the form of In-Game Billboards, Shipping containers... etc. I have seen these, but they are currently Generic logos which mean nothing.
Frankly I think it's kinda kewl to be plowing down a street in a Mech and passing by a big Coke Billboard!

Heres the good thing about it being "Same game different skin".... the system requirements stay the same. It runs just as good on my crappy PC as Battlefield 2 did.... Which is good news for me.

Titan mode is nice, the unlocks system is very cool, and it is an overall upgrade to BF2. Honestly it's more like an Expansion for BF2 than a new game.... but I have played all Battlefield games and Certainly like this one the best by far.

I haven't gotten 2142 yet, but I plan to. I play BF2 a lot, great game, easily my favorite fps.
