I've never farmed in eq2 either. THATS HOW IT SHOULD BE. I dont know of anyone who likes to farm. Its not fun. Hence why people buy gold in WoW, they are forced to farm solo and single group content to raid.

he richest people in the game were crafters, and I bought amenit mantles from people who farmed him because I was a leather crafter. Sniper rings were crafted btw so the 1.2mil you paid went to a crafter but crafting was a joke right? Shit was earned in that game and that's what makes eq2 so lame, everyone is decked out in full fabled it's a joke.

And who did the crafters pay for the materials?

You said it yourself, you would buy hides and sometimes get no profit at all from it. Crafting was not guarenteed safe and easy money. Farming was. Not to mention, how many millions of gil did you spend raising your craft skills? And who did you pay to raise those skill? Farmers.

I dont see how killing mobs 60 levels lower than you for money then buying gear is any better than doing trash raids in labs for relic. Both are prety lame.

Who kills mobs 60 levels lower? And how does that fit in with a relic trash run? And your right crafting wasn't gauranteed, it wouldnt have been fun or exciteing if it was but it was a good way to earn money. I'm sure you farmed cock meet in that shitty cave, that wasn't guaranteed either.

Are you a moron? You said shit was earned in FFXI because people paid large sums on money for gear. How did people get that money? They farmed weak mobs much lower than them in level. People get good gear from farming labs trash. They get that gear by killing very easy and weak mobs. Do you see it yet or are you still lost?

Yes, sorry i played a class that couldnt solo mobs near the same lvl as me. You were just too much of an uber red mage or beastmaster. I mean, you were so uber, your videos are still famous right!

Why are we talking about FFXI again? Played it for a few weeks, it was entertaining enough but the second I started leveling up my sub-class, I realized "Shit... you mean to tell me I have to level two characters consecutively to be considered semi-worthwhile? Fuck that shit!"

Are you a fucking idiot? I never farmed trash in FFXI, I farmed mobs appropriate to my level as I leveled up in the game. Then when I was 70-75 I farmed things like Roc, Simurgh and the scorpion in garlaige (forget that fuckers name) for loot for guildmates and for sellable crafting items and loot we didn't need. Then I moved onto gods in sky which also dropped loot we needed along with sellable items. From there I killed faf/nid behemoth/kb turtle/apsi and did dynamis. Along the way I also did BCNM's which were level capped and dropped crafting items etc which you could sell.

Does this clear things up for you dumbass?

The best part of FFXI was you could level an alt which wasn't an alt at all, you could simply change jobs anytime you wanted by going to your moghouse(inn) therefore not having to repeat flaging quests and things of that nature. FFXI was an incredible game for it's time and had alot of really inventive features that I wish were in some of the games today, subclass being one of them.

The more some of you post the more I relaize you are just hardcore, EQ2 or nothing fanatics and argueing with you about things is pointless. EQ2 could add a giant turd as a raid mob and you'd be convinced that it made sense.

That mordecai guy was bragging about how he spent an amazing 300k to beat an encounter in FFXI. Its so amazing by the way, theres videos of it, and its famous.

Then this keonig guy comes by who is known to hate eq2 alot, yet he still hangs around and plays, claims that gear was earned in FFXI and people workd hard for it, and that any noob can get fabled in eq2. When in reality, any noob can get good gear in both games.
