Then this fuckin idiot in whatever his guild is called this week came by and rambled on about some senseless shit he created in his mind while masterbaiting to a poster of moorguard.

Then I moved onto gods in sky which also dropped loot we needed along with sellable items. From there I killed faf/nid behemoth/kb turtle/apsi and did dynamis. Does this clear things up for you dumbass?
Um what is it supposed to clear up? I never said you farmed trash. Nor did i question you on your method of money making. I said farming was better, you said crafting was better, and in your post you proved farming was better.

Now, what i did say was were too much of an idiot to see the comparsion i made between eq2 and ffxi. And i guess my statement still stands.

The more some of you post the more I relaize you are just hardcore, EQ2 or nothing fanatics and argueing with you about things is pointless. EQ2 could add a giant turd as a raid mob and you'd be convinced that it made sense.
No where in my post did I say EQ2 rules. In fact, i have said before that I will give it one more shot with EOF, but if it doesn't own up for raiding, I'm going to look elsewhere. Whether that means I go back to my FFXI account or turn to EQ1, wait for Vanguard or (god forbid) go to WOW just to fill my time, I have NO QUALMS about leaving EQ2 behind.

I tried FFXI. I tried it several times actually. I played every day for 3 weeks straight. I played it just like I played EQ1 when I played it, and just like I played EQ2 now. I didn't do it as a side project, it was the primary game I played (tho I logged into EQ2 every day, it was only for a few mins at a time). So don't tell me that I'm an "EQ2 or nothing" fan. I gave FFXI a shot, I found it to be obscenely tedious. Maybe I'll go back and try to get beyond level 20, but I doubt it. The UI/mechanics were extremely uncomfortable for me. I didn't play with a controller, but even when I did (at a friends house) I felt uncomfortable and would run into things quite often. I found casting to be tedious, too many button clicks.

So please, don't assume you know me, because you don't.

None of which has squat to do with TBC or it's delay for polishing.

None of your epeens are any bigger than anyone else's.

Good for Blizzard for delaying for extra polish. However, after two frelling years, it should already have been as polished as it could possibly get.

WoW isn't a bad game, but it isn't perfect. Neither is EQ2. They could both learn a lot from each other.

Yeah it's brutal, leveling takes forever and you have to use macros or a controller to play, I wouldn't reccomend playing after playing any recent mmo because it will seem like the biggest time sink ever. I just said the game had some great ideas and had a functioning economy.

I wasn't referring to you in my last statement, you might be open to new things and willing to try other things(games) but alot of people here arn't and they will argue to no end about how great of game EQ2 is. That's fine though, if you love the game argue away but atleast know what your talking about when you claim eq2 as a superior game to wow/vanguard/ffxi or whatever.

And your right I don't know but we obviously we have something in common which is we enjoy playing mmo's and especially enjoy raiding. I've only raided the entry thing zones in wow and can tell you they are amazeing and when someone who played the game to level 5 argues that the game sucks it pisses me off. I'd never condemn a game without playing it for a period of time long enough to see every aspect of it but there's idiots on these boards that do that. Anyways to each thier own.

I could be wrong but I doubt they started development on tbc the day the original game was released.

Almost 1 year ago to the date was when it was first announced.

Ascendance - went from World Firsting the first two adventure pack bosses and Spirits of the Lost to quitting right before DoF and moving as a guild to WoW.

They're now in Naxx... I suck with WoW so not sure how far they are, but doesn't look like they've beat the Four Horsemen yet, /shrug.
According to their website, they've beaten 3 bosses in Naxx and have yet to see Ouro or C'Thun. Not bad, given the fact that they've been gone for what, 18 months from EQ2? /sarcasm off

Don't forget the expansion is basically the size of a fully released mmo.

Oh, and about Ascendance... This picture is from early Splitpaw Sage testing. Right when duels were being tested for the first time. Was maybe 3-4 guilds copied over, Vagabonds and Ascendance were two of them. We pretty much did zero testing and 100% dueling. We chased Ascendance off of EQ2 for ever :P This is me Dev fisting (when it still worked on players) Trudge, a pally from Ascendance (he was pretty enw to their guild, pretty dam cool guy too).

On a side note, when Vagabonds got copied over, at the exact moment we were zoning into Drayeks Chamber on the Live servers. So when we got to TEST we were standing under Vox.. was pretty funny.
