I am enjoying Halo 3, great fun on Live.

The ship gets sliced in half because only half of it made it thru the portal. What part did you not get?

But my main problem is how there are no real "tough parts". Sure you have parts when there are massive amounts of enemys but really it's not to hard to kill them. And of course you have levels like the last level where you have to drive a vehicle across falling platforms. But there really are no tough fights. It's like if it was an MMO it would be nothing but trash with no boss.

Spoiler, Master Chief is actually a cyborg, the strongest of the 10 Mjolnir Mark IV cyborgs that hid out on the way to Tau Ceti aboard Marathon. Right now you're really working for Leela, she's just changed her name and appearance after you found her after the events of the Marathon series.

But of course, they'll never come out and say that. But everybody will know it's true.

EDIT: Yea I've played it and understand it etc, but I'm not a fan of it.

I know that, but as I said, it doesn't show the ship getting cut in half by the portal prior to the credits rolling. If you remember Commander Hood and the Arbiter are standing on Earth and Commander Hood says something to the effect of, "I can't believe he's gone." and The Arbiter says, "IF only it were that simple." So there is foreshadowing that the Master Chief is still alive, but you don't see the cut off part of the ship or any reference to it until after the damn credits roll and Cortana and Chief are in the hold that was left after the portal chewed it off the ship.

The real Ending:

Master Chief is really just another cyborg controlled by an unwitting person who we will further refer to as "Ender."

Finally finished the campaign this weekend. The ending was nuts, all that driving and holy shit I suck at driving those vehicles. We made it some how and it was well worth it. But I didn't know about the skulls until we were almost through the campaign so I have to go back and get the rest now. Great fun, and a good story. I thoroughly enjoyed it. PVP is a blast too, there is nothing finer than pwing a bunch of boys. I made SGT finally and finally got MVP several times this weekend, poor Leah though I think she may get banned from LIVE if she doesn't stop yelling at people LOL.

I think my favorite map is shotty snipers on narrows, team slayer :D

I don't think Halo is a disappointment if you keep in mind the game was really meant for Multiplayer Online.

What I found to be total suckage is you can't have 4 people playing locally on one campaign (From One Xbox Live). We had my brother and my brother-in-law over this weekend, ready to play with us and couldn't do it. (And if you can do it, teach me how, please!!!)
