GameSpot Video: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Official Trailer 7

Check this out, about had a geekgasm watching it, think i need to go dust off my metal gear games. BTW Metal Gear Solid 3 has an online mode which is just fun as crap, maps are small kind of like TF2 but still highly enjoyable. Word is MGS4 will be online also for some frag blasting fun. I just can't say enough about this series.

I think the Metal Gear series is probably my all time favorite.

I liked Metal Gear 2 (the real one, not that Snake's Revenge bullshit) and Metal Gear Solid, but then it went to hell with MGS2 and 3.

Why in the Christ are you talking about? The third one was fucking awesome. I agree Solid was a great one, the second one was my least favorite.

I am buying a PS3 just for Guns of the Patriots.

I bought a PS2 for FFX and MGS2, and got burned on both. Fuck Kojima in the ear. At least the PS2 got some games later on, but christ. Worst year ever.

Playstation 3's release date issue on every game has had me severely disappointed so far. Every game (except sports games) that comes out on multiple consoles is a month or more late on playstaion 3. I keep hoping that will change, but it keeps not happening.

I have a wait and see attitude ATM. I've considered buying a 360 for those titles, and other reasons, but I've had other toy buying priorities lately.
