I play it every now and then and it is realy a nice game. Especially if u just want something else than eq2. Great casual game, but not if u want to do hardcore things (except mabye grinding factions and items)

LOTRO could have been one hell of a game..what we where given is poor IMO but as you say a great casual game

Even chat channel in LOTRO was boring. I gave it up and i wouldn´t go back even if it was for free.

[The game has some minor flaws but over all it's deffinalty one of the top out there easily, casual or not.

Oh yeah and they arw always giving away deals like this. The $10 a month was also to plays who started up at launch (which my account which is frozen due to the credit card being expired so if I am to return I should still get the $10 a month hehe)

I think if they are able to charge $10 a month it's a good sign.

I regret not just dropping the $200 and getting it forever tbh. Good/fun game for off nights.

they've always had the discs themselves pretty cheap, just to get the word out. Walmart here in ohio had the discs for $20 when it came out new, last year. I've not seen any numbers on subscribers, but everyone I know playing it loves the game. I played for 6 months beta/open and it was pretty fun, i enjoyed it.

depending on if SOE gets shit together and fixes stuff, i may be going back.
