The human model looks similar to the WoW human but that's the only thing in common I can see. I always did think that the WAR and WoW graphics were the same until this SS. I actually thought I was looking at a Conan screenshot. Hook me up with beta fool.

1. People that whine about how the game plays in beta.

2. I have based certain judgements off the beta, like how is the combat system, what are the minigames like and what are some of the strats that will be successful there.

I didn't base whether or not I would buy it off the beta, I had preordered the game in March, and didn't start the open beta until May 1st.

If the game sucks after my initial pay period, I won't pay for anymore.

Then you would know what jerks they are. They are worse than Lucas for choking the life out of their games. Look at a lot of their computer games. Some of them are just complete crap. You can blame the developer if you want to, but as tightly as they hold the reigns, they have a lot of that responsibilty, too.

They don't do what Interplay (who held the license for all D&D based games) does "make me a D&D game, I don't care what you do..." Which is how you end up with crappy games like the second Pool of Radiance, but you will also get something halfway decent like some of the Baldur's Gate console games. They (GW) are the people who update their rules 5 times just because. They will ship a whole system and not even include an army list.

There is the potential for a lot of good things to happen, but there is also the chance that they will pull an SWG.
