i was wondering if ppl thought my computer could handle the game i have a Laptop with a Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1.86GHz
the game says it requires 3GHz pentium 4

and i have been able to play with no trouble games like vanguard that required 2.4GHz but is the missing 1.14GHz to much for my computer to handle?

those are the real key. I'd suggest 3gb + and a 8800 series card for it to look great..but it runs on much less.

You will have some performance issues with that setup... and upgrading video cards in laptops can be annoying...

most you can do is buy another gig of ram and try it

Yellow Con's are mobs that are apprehensive

Red cons = KOS

White are NPC's

Blue are PC's

The rings at the bottom twirling under the mob show you how much XP they are worth.

No, I can run it at like 5 fps on my laptop which is a 7900, 2 gigs of ram and a 1.8ghz amd turion 64,

On my desktop, I run it at like 10 fps on a p4 3.4ghz dual core, x800 pro and 2 gigs of ram, really just need a new video card on this setup and maybe more ram, but yeah, you prolly need a new video card and faster processor.

So I messed around a little yesterday on my friends account, and while the graphics are awesome, and the combat system seems very fluid i'm just wondering. Is this game just more of the same?

Is there anything in AoC that makes it stand out from the other MMO's? Or is it another linear game with just better graphics?
