Well I got to play last night on Doomsay(sp) and it was fucking horrid (lag). My FPS would jump from 40 to 2 constantly. I didnt get to play for more then 1 minute without that happening over a 3 hour span. It seemed like for every 10 people bitching in OOC about it, there was one person bragging about their 100FPS connection with no lag.
I think my system more then meets the requirements to play.
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T9300 @ 2.50GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.5GHz
4 gig ram
GeForce 8600M GT
I tried removing all shadows, dropping resolution, and pretty much dumbing down every other option which did absolutely nothing.

Re: Age of Conan reviews
I think that the game in general was performing strange last night. Expect them to update the client in the next few days. I think they had more people log into their servers than expected and they are making the adjustments needed.

Re: Age of Conan reviews
The Nvidia drivers suck. A friend of mine switched from the newest driver to some really old one and got a huge performance boost in AoC.

The rings at the bottom twirling under the mob show you how much XP they are worth.

You are correct, those colors correspond to the names above their heads. But the target ring or con will vary from red to gray based on difficulty, not the amount of exp you will get.

I got a 20 FPS increase by setting the high res texture draw distance all the way out, so your PC isn't constantly redrawing textures first as low res, then at high res. I haven't tuned down any settings.
Intel Quad Core 2.6ghz
(2) ATI Radeon 2600 HD - crossfired, 512mb DDR3 ram ea, 8.04 drivers
4gb DDR2 800mhz
Vista 64
I played on OMM server last night to no lag.
