Another thing they've been running into is people submitting petitions for a tombstone they can't get to and not removing them, then letting the petitions sit in the qeue for hours after their tombstone effects have been removed.

Because Funcom doesn't want useless spam from people who dont play the game... they are focusing on the paying customers right now.

If I decide to just level up and leave the newbie city is there a way to go back there if they fix the quest at a later date so I can finish it?

There is a big difference between reading the forums, and posting to the forum. Being a paying customer and being able to post is 1 thing, but not being able to read at all is another. SOE used to do this, but they stopped doing it a few years ago. Seems Funcom is making the same mistake SOE used to make ;0

I agree. No harm in letting people lurk the boards for information. If it wasnt for a few threads I read here and on some other boards I probable would have held out in buying it due to lack of information.

Yes you can. I left the newbie town and the guy to send you back to there was fairly close by.

Started Tuesday, I'm level 37 now with a couple other toons around 10.
I've been enjoying it so far. and I think I saw my first contested mob in Pointain yesterday.
Looks pretty cool. i can't wait to see the end game and hope it's worth it.

Yep, I wanted to do some reading on the boards but I can't even see them since I don't have an account.

I would have liked to do some research on the game before I plopped down 50 bucks but I guess I get to spend that money on beer instead.

I had read somewhere that they will open it up to the public eventually for read only access. As for now, they are being hammered with the usual mmo launch crap with bugged quests and what not. Also have to take into account that they have added 9 servers since launch so yeah...they're busy over there.

Also a fair share of people who can't fathom that their uber two year old computer can't run this game at high settions and whine constantly about it. I think they mainly just don't want the public to see the tech support forum with the various whiney posts like "ZOMG WTF my 4 CPU QUAD SLI 32 GIGZ of RAM GETz 5 FPS" which is mostly fixed with a video card driver uninstall and update.
