Re: Age of Conan reviews
There was a ride back to Tortage in the Aquilonians city Tarantia at the docks. I didn't use it but the npc asked if I would like to go back to Tortage.

Ah, but is there a way to leave the town if you have not yet completed your lvl 19 progression quest, but don't want to delete it either? My wife's questline is bugged and doesn't want to delete it. End result so far is 4 petitions sent in (they keep deleting them when she is off line) and she seems stuck in Tortage.

Yeah, there is another way off for sure although Im not possitive how its done. Saw something in the official forum thread about the quest bug. Unfortunatley that thread is real long now so its going to be bitch to find.

One thing that bothers me about AoC, is the surroundings and how your character acts with it. Say for example you run down a slope, you will always get stuck at the bottom and have to jump to get off of it. If you are running through a wide open field and run along a slight little mound of earth your character will get stuck and you have to jump to get over it. All in all loving it alot, lvl 36 Guardian and still having a great time soloing.

Re: Age of Conan reviews
Are they opening chat to IRC botting like in Anarchy Online? I wrote some gnarly chat bots way back in the day but, imho, open IRC made the AO community really strange and full of obsessed drammallamas.

lulz from update notes:
* Characters should now be able to move away from their spot, without the server thinking that they are hacking

At level 19 (and earlier though i don't know what level exactly) you will be offered the option, by your trainer, to skip the rest of the quest. this would complete the questline and get you out of there, but then you can't go back and do it later.

That's because its one of the only MMOs with collision detection.

Re: Age of Conan reviews
Once you are out of Tortage you can go back by talking to the Tortage Smuggler on the docks of your home town. Also to get out of Tortage you can go to the Abandoned Warehouse in Tortage and talk to the smuggler in there to get back to your home city. The warehouse is an instance inside the city down close to the docks, it is on your map. I am really enjoying chopping of heads and making shit bleed.
