I could be mistaken since I didnt really play AoC to long but isnt the pvp just pure FFA and really no factions? IMO the best thing about WoW pvp was the Alliance vs Horde thing. Ive always liked how it divided the game.

I believe that it is the 3 different countries or whatever the hell you want to call them against each other. I could be mistaken though as I play on a pve server to not get ganked while trying to level ;p

I dont think racial PVP will work in AoC. Since Aqua/Cimmirians cant be mages, and Stygians cant be tanks.

Otherwise its ment to be guild vs guild.

There is one racial PvP server that it feels like they're trying as an experiment. Apparently you can still group cross-faction and stuff so it ends up being wonky with who you can attack and not attack and help.

Everything else is FFA PvP so far.

Well, I think that answered my question... So, it's just random people killing random people.

Last question (for now). Is there any option to PvP on the PvE servers? Can you flag yourself PvP like in WoW?

at end game, the PVP on the PVE server happens in the "Borderlands".

I believe you can duel, but really the PVP is only in special zones.

The problem with PVP on the PVP servers is there is no reason to it. You lose nothing and gain nothing from PVP, so cheap shots are rampant, you get a "kill" from killing a level 20 same as you do a level 40. I am sure they will address this though.

I'm not on the Pvp server but it would be cool to see something like they had in Ultima online...

where the more you kill people the worse your faction gets with all of the cities, where you end up getting these titles like Dark Lord, or Dread Lord...

and on the flipside you get titles for killing people who kill people.. like Great Lord, or whatever

yeah i think they need something.

Personally I am tired of seeing people post KvD ratios and brag about it knowing full well they got them via spawn camping or killing greybies.

I'd love to see them make killing someone with a spawn buff, or someone who is grey to you remove one of your kills. That might wake some of the "elite PVP" retards up.

Regardless, PVP is fun, I just wish it had some kind of loot, and was FOR something.

i like what Warhammeronline has hinted at when i high lvl player attacks a much lower lvl toon they get turned into a chicken and i am assuming can then be 1 or 2 shotted by the lowbie
