There is a points system on the pvp servers, it has just not been implicated as of yet. It was in beta and you move up in levels to 20. They are still debating a new system and have talked about a few options but nothing is final and in the game yet. It is ffa pvp and there already alliances on my server, plus what seems to be a full server alliance against Ebonlore.

I'm getting on average 80fps in this game on high settings in jungles! and in instance dungeons have seen up to 200fps. Something I never could have imagined in EQ2 and that is pretty much the selling point for me. They need a few features (like allowing mapping of camera up/down movement) but other then that I'm very happy with it. The combat system is interesting and fun and much more dynamic.

The kind of specs that should work really really well with any game out of the box - but never performed as well as I expected in EQ2. Was glad that Age of Conan performed so well out of the box because I finally decided (after much effort) no amount of hardware and tweaking as going to improve EQ2.

Grab Driver cleaner Pro (search for it). uninstall your drivers, run the driver cleaner. Boot to safe mode, run it again.

Reboot and reinstall the LATEST drivers.

Added about 25-30 FPs for me, i get around 30-60 in most areas now., on high settings @ 1900x1200. EQ2 still crawls on extreme for me.

Careful with driver cleaner, make sure you select the correct drivers to clean, dont clean your chipset.

I've come to realize, this game is not much fun for me after level 20. And Tortage is becoming boring. I've got my main at 22 I think, and I've levelled like 6 different toons to 20ish. Outside of there, I'm just bored being an errand bitch for NPCs. I don't know the solution, but quests have to become more interesting. I'll see how far I can make it in this game....
