Is that buddy key only for US accounts? Coz I couldn't find one on my friends EU account, well I didn't anything about buddy keys at all.

Server performance? Deathwhipser is so packed you have to wait to login sometimes and I have had ZERO server side lag...System performance? I have a slighty above average PC and play it on max settings and it looks better and runs better then eq2 for me...Demonologists and Rangers are the win for pvp and soloing due to burst dps

Oh and if it is any consolation to you...I got a quest to find some hooker at the "Bearded Clam Whorehouse" true story

Flipmode

Well this is the first time I started as a healer in an MMO, but i rolled with a Priest of Mithra. So far at lvl 30 have 3 heals, all pbaoe. They are like HoTs. I can heal an ass load, my damage is about medium. I was fighting groups 2-3 lvls above me.

Mobs are eith solo, mini-boss, or boss thus far. The latter 2 are tougher and have more hps. I accidentally pulled a boss and 2 solo mobs 2 lvls above me which would have been death for most any other toon. I never went below 50% health and burned em down aoe style. The down side is you run out of mana, you are dead heh.

Grind

Been playing on my Main comp, and my new laptop.

Oddly enough, my Laptop runs AoC better than my Desktop. Spec's are close to the same, cept the Laptop has a lower CPU. However laptop is running vista 64-bit vs Main pc which is running XP 32-bit.

While i doubt thats the difference, and its that my main PC needs a defrag BAD. Difference wasnt that noticeable, but it was there.

Gameplay wise: Only played a small amount since its a friends early access account, and mine isnt active til Tuesday. Looks very pretty. I wouldn't say its any "spammier" than eq2 if your one of those rare people who actually sit at your computer playing eq2, and not afk-autoattack.

Since I haven't gotten any reasonable levels yet, i won't comment on gameplay in-depth, just my initial reaction.

I never saw nodes till i was in lachlesh plains, but the other day i saw one in wild lands, i thought maybe you cant see nodes till you have the skill or something, not sure

They have about 24 unique raid encounters in game now, meaning encounters which drop loot. Raiding is fierce so far from what i have seen and been apart of(in closed beta).

Raiding does not begin till late 70s.

Siege warfare, PvP, including siege engines to destroy Keep walls,etc..

Player cities.

What else is there to do at the end of the game?

Very fun combat with collision detection!

Made it to 33 today, before you play, be ready for a shit ton of quests. Im guessing all the way to 80. Will have my War Mammoth tomorrow =) Then 3 days of finals w/ last minute studying >< I play a barbarian if anyone has any questions.

Yeah... just not RP PVP, lol. Stygians don't have anyone who can take a beating at the respawn point long enough to play one. I've rolled 4 toons trying to find one to enjoy so far... the first 3 were stygian because I wanted to try a mage...

Guess I'm a fighter at heart... guess I always knew that too...

What is the most viable race for Conqueror?

Is it only available to some? I'm gonna play one. Looks like demand is high for them and I'm not sure what I want to do yet insofar as guilds, so hopefully it'll leave a few more options open.
