For thoughs of you that are in early access AoC or played in Beta how do you guys like or dislike it so far?

patcher takes forever to start working, even if your game is up to date. could be due to the servers being totally trashed with people trying to access them right now though. im betting AoC launch is gonna be something similar to WoW launch, and they will have to use the income from the game to buy more server hardware for like 6 months

If your patcher is just sitting there Faxon, it is because the patch server is taken down. You need to restart it.

yea i have been restarting it lol. still no hit. sucks to, because i already updated the game last night and im ready to get in game

This is my beta thoughts.

The game is pretty stunning visually, the characters animations are top notch with skeleton and muscular systems looking very realistic.

Armour looks sweet - ive never seen such great looking golden chainmail that reacts to jiggling boobs.

Voice acting is at a bare minimum atm from 20 onwards.

Zones 1-20 feels like a shoebox, 20-30 zones are the size of maybe kylong plains

combat is great fun and really fluid once you get the combos going.

Loot is ok, a bit plain, but im sure there is interesting stuff out there.

Destiny quests from 1-20 are story driven, pretty good - after that i havent found any big ones, just lots of kill 10 rats etc.

Sound is top notch - love the celtic themes.

Overall the game is good, Evolutionary just not revolutionary

I probably wont be playing it.

Played beta for a bit, it's no longer installed on my computer and I still play WoW.

Funny, I did the total opposite. They started a little late, but this has been the smoothest MMORPG start that I've ever been a part of.

Should have played Lotro, servers went down for 15 minutes. No bugs or anything :/

True story, LoTRO easily has the smoothest launch of any mmo ever.
