I don't like that they're using the WoW graphics engine, I liked D2s graphic engine better than WoW. I also don't like the new inventory alignment, 1 slot for everything seems really gay. I hope they're reducing inventory space!

Other than that, it looks incredible. I can't fucking wait.

Did they really set a 2012 release date? :X

When will Diablo III be released?

It's too early to estimate Diablo III's release date. As with all Blizzard Entertainment games, our goal is to create a game that is as fun, balanced, and polished as possible. We intend to take as much time developing Diablo III as is necessary to ensure the game meets our own high expectations and those of our players.

Who cares what the classes are? You can add a class that can physically materialize ninja hookers in your house, and it still won't mean the numbers game will be anywhere near what Diablo 2 had, and considering Diablo 2 is a complete fluke for Blizzard (who's made shitty platformers and rushfest RTSes otherwise up to that point, and a mediocre "MMO" and more rushfests afterwards, not to mention the snorefest that was the original Diablo), and that nobody else can come close even in other genres, I don't have any hope that Blizzard can suddenly repeat their success.

But yes, BLIZARD IS TEH AWSUM. A single good game is a great track record. Cave or Psikyo can't compete with that!

A single good game? And Starcraft wasn't a rushfest RTS, I promise ;). I used to spend days at a time playing that game, I loved crushing morons who rushed.
