Lamil, those screenshots from random sites/pepz or u play in beta?
Game looks good, but yeah, lots of mixed opinions here, only way for me to tell if I will like it is if I give it a shot when it comes out, which I definiately will be doing....

Lamil, those last one are never how the game looks on anyone's comp, and if they did, I'd still stay WoW graphics are better hands down ;)

Shots are from sites, but mixed between player shots and like company shots. Some player ones on the beta forums tho are quite nice also.. i was just too lazy to upload them somewhere and repost, ect. But this is what the game looks like with the UI off, just scaled down a bit.

Looks like EQ2 is having a bonus xp weekend this weekend, are they afraid of Conan's pvp weekend, or just a coincidence??

i'd say coincidence. people who'll be playing PvP weekend signed up for it long before the bonus XP thing.
then again, SOE marketing is very good at timing stuff to thwart competitors. i just don't think this pvp weekend is really anything worth thwarting heh. My guess is we'll hear something about an expansion or adventure pack for EQ2 within the next month tho.

meh. its pretty obvious that's why theyre doing it. it was a huge pvp thing, that has a chance of people leaving their games when aoc comes out if they like it. I would do anything I could to avoid people trying it.
