At least i hope that there will be many quests like in everquest so theres at a bit for you tards to do, if not it will be gank gank gank 6vs1 all day, or x4 vs 1 lol fun.

If there would at least be a bloody and gory combat system like AoC has combined with the pure awensomeness of WAR RvR fights it could be good, but the devs decided to make a free for all whatever fucking shit game.

The dev team is a bunch of dumb scrubs, how come you think it is even going to be released any time ? it so much reminds me at duke nukem forever...darkfall isnt going to be released anytime.
And if, it will use a ten year old engine with fucking shit graphics u can see on every screenshot or vid.

From bein in DF beta in about 4 months, I will say this.

The game has potential, it was lacking some needed content or required some fine tuning (mainly on the economic side and crafting). With the last patches in the beta they made crafting progression easier, which makes me think they do not see the problem, if anything just made it worse. (Crafting was not really valued and it was difficult, so they made it easier instead of increasing its value... therefore it will probably end up like AoC with everyone with good crafting skills make items that are generally useless)

As for the quality of the game play, it is much like EQ1 style where unless you are willing to invest a lot of time solo'ing isn't feasable for anything mid to high end really (kiting can work, but takes awhile). As it is an open pvp environment with full loot, it essentially forces people into guilds to do anything.

Where the game does shine though is large scale pvp conflict. Simply put, large scale pvp actually requires tactics and knowledge of the battlefield for the space it takes up. Mixed in with the inability to really hold multiple roles (armour decreases archey efficiency, spell damage, increases cast time and fizzle rate combined with a cool downtimer for switching armour). There is also player colision so the room the fights take up increases by a good amount and positioning is useful.

Now as the games economy will probably end up in the shitter, its only chance of survival in my opninion is the drive of preformed guilds to rape eachother on the battlefield.
