I'm playing on nightmare, and i really haven't had much trouble, save for the ring of fire room in the tower.

I AM going to roll as a rogue though, because all the locked chests throughout the first few levels and not having a rogue in your party really sucks my balls.

Think of that extra $10 on consoles as paying a QA department. If you doubt it, look at the PC version of Borderlands.

I had a hell of a fucking time beating the boss at the top of said tower.
PS: The joining blew my mind. Where the other two Grey Wardens get wtf pwned. And the scene after with Duncan and the King dying because asshat let them.

And don't worry too much about a rogue. Yes it sucks not being able to open all the chests but when you get to the first town you will get a female character who is a rogue.

I was almost always neutral to the group vs. individual factor, I never found it to change the feel of a game. If anything the group is better for gameplay because it irons out any situations that are biased towards certain mechanics.

I thought it was imposed on game publishers so MS and Sony could try and turn a profit off 360/PS3
