MW2 isn't out yet.

EA's trying to pull some scam for another $10 tho, so I'll wait it out when its on sale for 50% or something.

MW1 single player was a lot of fun.

My suggestion: wait til its on sale. Fuck EA. Second worst company out there next to SoE.

i was reading on purepwnage.com in the fps section about how DICE devs (battlefield series) were making fun of IW for not having dedicated servers on there twitter accounts.

ill probably pick it up for xbox 360, cod has never been to fun for me on pc.

I haven't played it on console but MW1 was a great game on PC, its a shame that they're gimping its successor.

I'll probably still get it for PC, just for the single player... But I'm disappointed that there wont be any dedicated servers and I refuse to get it for my 360, FPS games on a control pad are lame. Mouse and keyboard ftw every time.

Saying that though I think that battlefield in its various guises was always the better online shooter, so perhaps its not to much of a disaster. I'm really looking forward to BF bad company 2.

and the fact that they nerfed the max player count from 32 to 16 to match the consoles. I don't see the need for them to piss off so many PC gamers since the vast majority of their sales will be for consoles. I would play it on the PC, but all of my friends play on the 360 since that is a more streamlined platform for gaming so I will be getting it on the 360 as well.

Its not 16, its 18 (9v9) in some gameplay modes and 12 (6v6) in all others.

6-8 weeks? Holy shit, it took me a couple days to beat MW1, and I can't imagine that MW2 is going to be way longer, since pvp action is usually where it's at.
