I think half of the people who play on this server are either furries or batshit insane. It's a fucking video game, people. You're not a nine foot tall lizard. I realize it's probably hypocritical for me to say this as a player of MMOs, but please get a life. Or at least grow out of that four year old imaginary friend stage. Thanks.

The only thing I can add to this is how much I love seeing everyone picking an evil race, betraying, and playing the born again good guy. I want to see someone RP, if you choose to RP, their race like one would suspect a race to be played. You play an Iksar? Hate everyone, good guys more so then anyone. Invite a wood elf to your group, call him a weak sack of meat, get him killed in the middle of a dungeon, and kick him from the group. Not everyone is a good guy and that is why RP servers are not really RP servers.

Why do I play on AB? Honestly, before of the before named reason, the population seems to be filled with less assholes. My only gripe is don't call everyone running around trying the "hero" of their own sad little story roleplaying.

you pay to play how you play, they pay to play how they want their game experience and adventure to be. You might've encounter some bad rp'rs or just people that think mature rp = cybering. Unless you really want to pay for their game, just shut up about it.

You're right, mate, you're right. I pay to play and so do they, and that gives me every right to come to a site like this and get it off my chest, because elsewhere I'd be banned and I know there are a lot of others who feel the same way.

If I wanna call a roleplayer a twat, it's not because they're bad RPers or because they think mature rp = cyb0rz, it's because they're a twat. A thick cunt what can't get it through his head what a massive waste of time and money EQ2 is for him. Do something or gtfo, thx.

Here we go again. Its the same old rant but a new person doing it.

I am a quester, a raider and a rper. I enjoy all things greatly and that is why I play this game so much and love to play it.

Personally I do not get why there is such a hatred for rpers on this server. This is a rp peferred server. Its like going into a restraunt that serves Italian food, plainly states it serves Italian food and screaming for Mexican food.

I would also like to point out that have never cybered and I do not cyber here. I am happily married to a good man and as a rper look down upon others that do. To me and a vast majority this is a world of high fantasy ala Lord of the Rings where we can be parts of the story and create our own. The ammount of time and energy SOE has put into creating lore and information for a basis for people to rp off of is immense. The dont make line after line of NPC dialogue to slow down power levelers like they all think it does. The collection books are not there just for collecting and using to level your character.

Also may I remind you that most of the xxx rated garbage that has happend on this server was caused by non rpers. Look though the posts for this server and also the rumors and well I see alot more non rpers doing some one handed typing

Not all non rpers are assholes either. I am great friends with alot of people who dont rp and I respect that. In part also alot of them respect what I do and dont harass me. Some dont get it and i never expect them too, its not for everyone.

So jumping on this forum, comparing rpers to kids, while tossing around slurs like a teenage brat isnt gonna get you to far in my book.
