Hello AB,

Avalorien, one of the oldest guilds on the server is forming a in guild raid force. Lots of our former members started their adventures in Avalorien and left to be very successful raiders. One of which is Quigg, dirge and officer of TBA, he started in Avalorien, there are many more, Skyfire, Nakoa and Luceus are some of our more famous ones all of which started with us. Now we're joining the ranks of raiders and making a raid force with in this great guild. Most of our members are experienced raiders.

Those that join the raid force are subjected to the raid forces rules, and if you cannot live up to those expectations you can leave the force but ARE NOT required to leave Avalorien. Avalorien is a Casual family and friends guild with many members who like grouping with each other, and will not force anyone to leave if you chose not to raid. We would love for you to join our ranks.

Raid times: Wednesday and Thursday, start time being 9pm EST. Times may be expanded depending on demand.
Guild Level: 72

Who to Contact: Jakini, Jarrek, Jaldaes, Ivellious, Thieron, Ghanima, or any guild recruiter.
Open Classes: Dirge, Troubadour, Illusionist, Necromancer, Wizard, Warlock, Conjurer, Ranger, Swashbuckler, Brigand, Inquisitor, Defiler, Mystic, and Paladin.
Closed Classes:Guardian, Berserker, Shadowknight, Templar, Druids, Assassin
Priority Classes: Dirge, Shaman, and DPS.
Requirements: The ability to check raid calendar without being reminded, Ventrilo (do not have to talk just listen), Adept III or higher on all class defining/high use spells, Level 78+ within a week of joining, and a sense of humor.

Edit: Not that there's anything wrong with that...

I don't know that you can include them in the nonsensical glut of AB raiding guilds since they are just trying to bump up their raiding efforts, but are and have been an established guild since release. I like a lot of Avaloriens and hope it all goes well.

/shrug why should there be some cap on raid guilds?

I personally think the raid game should be accessible by most of the playerbase.

Besides, I believe they are replacing a raiding guild that folded on Najena, forget the name tho.

I think the point is that there are a lot of guilds stuck in lower T8 tiers that could consolidate their A listers and classes and become a much better units, but then again, this is looking at things in a vacuum and focusing only on "win" which many times, but not always translates into "fun".
