Hey all. I just moved to this server to try something new, and wanted to introduce myself. I am an 80 templar and very skilled healer with epic and a combination of AD3 and Masters. I have raided Kor'sha & OK, and my guild was just beginning on VS when I left due to needing levity and understanding with schedule conflicts (explained in this note)

I have had some struggles with joining raiding guilds due to the fact that I am both a full time working professional as well as going to school for a grad degree on top of it. (Keeps me busy 75+ hours per week finish Feb 2009)
I'd love to join a general casual or raiding guild. I am free to help on raids as a pickup or commit to a maximum of 2 nights per week on either M, Tue, Wed, Thurs, Sunday) game play. Even with that commitment the schedule gets really hectic every 10 weeks and so it is possible there could be conflicts and it would need to be taken with stride.

To summarize, I know my availability makes me unttractive for uber guilden but I was hoping there would be a good fit somewhere with understanding folks. I'd make really good back-up raider (and can make IM information available for contacting when i"m off line) or an awesome raider for a guild who only raids 1 or 2 nights a week or already has a templar who needs a night or two off.

Just wanted to drop a line and say hi in case you were wondering where this 80 Templar came from ;-)

Just stay away from the many raid guilds that start daily here on AB. Do your homework and join a worthwhile guild that can get out of T1 Raiding and you should be fine.

Welcome to AB, Donielle!

I actually can so understand your plight beyond all belief. :P I myself am working on getting the last few credits for my Bachelor's....and add on top of that the fact I have a 2 year old AND am having another kid next month. Oh, and yeah...running my company takes up time too...

So yeah, I can totally hear you on scheduling issues.

My recommendation is to just look around and talk to various guilds. Of course, you'll be in my boat and you won't be able to find a really nice raiding guild that'll take you along because of scheduling...but then again you're a desired class...so you'll have leverage right there. (I'm not only a swashy, I'm Narelie. Therefore, I'm SCREWED trying to find a nice guild, lol!)

So yeah, welcome to the server...and do beware of the few total idiots that we have roaming about. If ya ever need any help or someone to chat with, drop me a line in game!

Hi and welcome to the server! Don't listen to the nay sayers, there are some good people still to be found on AB. First off I suggest you look here:

The Town Square Home - GuildPortal Guild Hosting

That's the Town Square, which is a kinda hub for people looking for rp guilds. I also suggest you check out the Raven, Mythic, also a great central rp location.

As for what you are looking for, have you thought about Raven Guard? They raid casually, are good roleplayers and have a no drama and RL priority policy. You can find them at:

As for actual raid guilds rather than rp... I'll have to think on it. Oh, and if you need someone to chat to, I play Inzilbeth, also an 80 templar /hugs!
