Is it just me, or is this just a crappy level range with little in the way of options. I'm either too high or too low for an instance in this range.... Any bright ideas or suggestions? Or is this just the way it is?

It sucks, no joke. But this is when you start the Claymore line. Yeah yeah, you might putz around with the basket and Froglok collecting quests, but I think it proven that the early bulk is best done grinding out the Claymore line in SoS. I could be wrong, but I've done it 3 or 4 times to have my opinion.

Get in Sanctum groups is basically the best EXP plan, run the solo questlines on the KoS islands while you're waiting if you haven't already. If you didn't do Lfay you should definitely get on that too. DoF questlines probably not bad if you haven't done them and you can stomach it with the gray exp stuff.

But yeah basically low 60s suck except for Sanctum. Nest, Acadechism and Poet's Palace would all be fine instances if you could get in on them to break up the monotony. In the mid to upper 60s you can start getting instance groups for high end KoS and EoF content. Once you hit 68-69 you can really get in on the Kunark solo quest gravy train. Get used to cockatrices and rhinos because that's all you're gonna be doing for a while hehe. Don't worry about the Claymore quests too much, there are a shitton of other easier heroic quests in Sanctum.
