I just tried to install EQ2 on my Laptop.

Its not working.

Is vista the problem?

I play on my laptop with Vista. You have to right click when you launch EQ2 and choose "run as administrator." Assuming the DL was ok that should do the trick.

I also have to do this to use Ventrillo and ACT each time I launch them. There is a way to designate the "run as admnistrator" automatically, but I haven't bothered to look into it.

You can go into the options for all users in control panel and set all users to run programs as admins...i dont have a vista machine in front of me, so thats the best i can do atm. you can find it pretty easily.

i found that on here, search for vista problems or something and youll get the link.
