They'd also buff based on senority rather than output (i.e. stack Me, Zerix, and Dookie in group and TC Zerix even though both Dookie and I smashed him w/o it.) Senior members would also get the stacked groups, regardless of output as well. I'm sure you remember when G4 would be the whatever-classes-were-left group.
As far as loot goes, the loot order never changed, regardless of how the policy was said to work. They claimed to have a combination attendence/output policy. Wasn't so. Oldest members always cherry picked the loot.
The whole leadership was laughable at best, the only reason I saw they were able to stay around so long was due to them having some badass healers. Which they did.
All of this QQ is only because I know they're trying to reform, with nearly the same leadership, and it's funny. And I'm one to hold a grudge. I do it for Smythais.

I'll take the good with the bad. We had some suck-ass motherfuckers. But when a suck ass motherfucker has been with you from day 10, its kind of hard to tell him to fuck off. Its all political. Keep in mind, we play with people, real fucking people. It was always about having fun. We still got more done in the game then 99% (dont you love made up numbers?) of the people who played it, with our suck as people, and our retards, and our drama queens, and our crappy leadership.And most of us had fun doing it! (imagine that).
As far as Zerix, yeah... what a fucking pain. Rest assured, Zerix was fucking amazing. About 10percent of the time. The other times, he was half-afk, half-whatever the fuck, but it sure as shit wasn't dpsing. He knows his shit, he's just a distracted and lazy bastard. It still happens to this day... he is the only person I have ever yelled at in vent. Drug him to another channel and yelled at him. But I wouldn't trade him for anyone.
Dex you have to keep in mind that you were around for how long? And you caught us at the tail end. When we were tired. Its happened to damn near every guild in the game.
Dookie is a friend of mine. I like talking to him, I like hanging out. But... two years ago, I wanted to choke the little shit. Again, we play with people... and when people are annoying as fuck (like you were), they are ostracized. Nobody ever said that the Eidolon leadership wasn't a bunch of crotchety old fickle pricks.
Talking about loot and trends, guess what... I fucking tracked it for years. You can take a little snapshot of any set of numbers and manipulate it the way you want. At the end of the day, our average member outgeared almost any other guild in the game's average member. Everyone got fucking loot, some people just had to do their time. Every guild is a good old boy system, it doesn't matter what loot system they use. If your guild isn't, guess what... it hasn't been around long enough yet to become one.
Really, I'm not saying your opinions aren't valid here, and in some cases, I agree with them. But you really lack perspective on some of the shit you are talking about. Just throwing that out there.
The guild was what it was. And quite honestly, me and dookie were just curious as to what ex-eidolon members had to do with Ixtlan. I was trying to get the skinny on who was involved and what was said out of morbid curiousity, but obviously this is just going to be some whine forum for people who we didn't like and didn't last long because of it.
