Its nice that a raid is offering a chance for stupid people to get their update but everyone will laugh at anyone that pays that amount. I personally wouldnt pay more than 1k-2k for the update. It holds the same value more or less as if you sold any other item from that kill. Its not like the person getting the update wont zone in, get themselved killed, and sit and watch till you farm a named for them.

There's no real link between SC and Plat. I can make 1000p+ a day without doing much work. Would I trade 15 days of an hour or three of farming for the most OP melee weapons for a beastlord? Yes.

I wish I could sit around without pants on all day and make $100 USD.

Maybe I should get a job as a security guard at an unimportant business.

Any easymode raider can make 2500+ per week from 1 grouping heroic zones + soloing pr/soh/vp/etc. Our target audience is people who actually have a use for the weapons, and if you can't come up with (at least) 15k plat to get by far the best melee weapons in game, then you probably don't need them.

Lol. Not sure what you're arguing here. No one is making you buy anything. If you have the plat and want the mythical update then spend it. If not then go about your day and stfu. This isn't about you.

PR/SoH/VP = 1-2 hours.

ToT/EoW = another 1-2 hours.

rare named checks in other zones = idk. another 1-2 hours?

tot/eow every day, alternate raids and rare checks. gratz 3 hours spent a day.
