In EoF beta, the original 1H adornments were not supposed to proc off the off hand if i remember correctly. But yeah doesn't matter now as they proc off either hand (Phantom and Vampiric handles atleast).

So proc's can be set of by both primary and offhand attacks?? Damn, I thought that only the main hand weapon set off procs including the proc from an offhand weapon. Or is that just the adornments?? or has Vaanir confused the shit out of me??

Well the reason is say that is that offhand only swings when you auto attack... while main does auto + combat art swings..... resulting in added proc chances no?????

Yes. As you can see here. Decap trigger's Swipe. However CA's trigger autoattack so you get the mainhand triggering Swipe with Decap, and then MH-OH swing at the same time. Equals increased proc chance.

edit: Thought I would put an example to see the effect.

as i understand it:
mainhand procs all non weapon procs (swipe, planar orb, ring from nttr, agitate(fury buff) etc)

weapon procs proc off a melee attack, which can be anything I thought.. Maybe I am mistaken in this though. (not that it particularly bothers me as both my weapons have the same delay at 4s) If I am wrong in this, and only MH procs off any melee~ then I'm changing my adorns around so that phantom is on my MH :p

Mainhand procs everything that can be procced with autoattack or CAs; CAs use the mainhand. Offhand only procs weapon procs on the weapon in the offhand during autoattack. Procs or effects on the weapon only proc during an attack by that weapon, so mainhand procs the effects on the mainhand, offhand procs the effects on the offhand. This is why CAs can also trigger procs because CAs use the mainhand.

So to reiterate: the only thing that can proc off the offhand are the procs on the weapon being wielded in the offhand and it only happens on an autoattack, which is all the offhand does since CAs use mainhand. So only the adornments or effects on that weapon will proc when it hits, but nothing else.

I think thats how it works but Im a noob.

To me that makes more sense, I had just heard somewhere that procs only trigger from main hand attacks (including procs on offhand weapon). Never made sense, be nice to know.

If it is, then I would change the adornments around. You want the better one in your MH since it has an increased chance to proc since CA's use MH for attacks.
