30-40% for melee seems high. I do 25-30. What percentage does everyone elses melee do for them?

And to be clear, he does between 80% and 115% damage. So some nights he really slacks, other nights he hits a turbo button.

I do between 25% to 35% melee. perhaps slightly higher on some buffs/zones.

Its funny, i was complaining alot about our auto attack before when dualwields sucked compared to bows or rogues with 1hander/double attack so i sort of just focused on spamming CAs to maximize damage.

Getting 2 4sec weapons now with soulfire and BS makes a world of a difference, and I am not spamming anymore but rather maximizing my melee and CAs at the same time.

I would say 35-40% on average. . . like 25-30% with no buffs, 30-35 in MT group, 35-40 with dirge/zerk or mage group, 40-45 in a very good melee group with like dirge/illusionist/zerk/inq.

It obviously different for everybody depending on gear/playstyle/group but thats just me.

Well, just like Rangers aren't doing what they really can without a top bow and ammo, we need top weapons to do our thing too. Just the overall % of auto-attack for us is lower for our dps, whereas rangers do the majority of it by auto-attack.

The jump from second tier weapons to the top tier was pretty big for me, and I don't even have the best gear besides that.
