Default Just curious if I'm doin alright

Hi guys

I've got a 70 assassin with pretty gimp gear I'm starting to raid with..

My Eq2players is EverQuest II Players

I'm curious about my cast order, if my parses are ok, etc..

My raids DPS collectively usually doesnt go over 20K,

And I usually parse about 1.6K - 2.7K

This really unusual time in Labs I parsed 3.5K on the first named by the forge. (no miracle.) But Raid DPS was 30K

Our group setup changed that night and it was Assassin, Coercer, Dirge, Guardian, Templar, and a mystic.

On an average fight (meaning Decap isn't up :P) my cast order is usually

Intox > Slip Away > Cloaked Assault > (Luckybreak - Enmesh/Constriction > Bladed Opening) > Crippling Strike > Exacting (if up) 3 dots > Malignant mark (Dispatch is usually here) > Concealment > Evicerate > Jugular > Puncture Blade > Cloaked Assault (again, if up) > Finishing Blow and if its not dead after the finishing blow just click whats up until it is.. =p

Sometimes this changes with the fight though, if Deadly Focus is up I try to time that and honed reflexes with a CoB.
if the mob has knockback first thing I do is toggle my ranged auto attack and when I'm in the air, start Neck Shot or the other one. get back in asap.

Am I doing things right? I just betrayed to Assassin so I'm kinda iffy on whether I should be doing more (Since I did more as a ranger)

Further information, I only have a couple masters : Exacting, Killing Blade, Deadly Focus, Deadly Wound. Malignant Mark is my m2.

My AA spec is STR / INT Bleeding, and I'm working into repeated stabbing or frontload

One of the best indicators is what % of your raid's DPS you personally contribute, and at 10-12% sounds like your doing pretty good.

Thanks =) Really makes me want the better gear >.<
My guild has some problems and we lost some of our raid so I doubt I'll get any of the end game stuff
I wanna raid with my Assassin full time now heh. love it! I've got a 70 ranger thats pretty well geared and a 70 inquisitor and the assassin owns face. I can only imagine what I can do with better gear but I dont think I'll get it for a while

Most of our DPS comes from CA's so try to get as fully mastered as possible while you wait for gear to drop. KoS AAs sound right, the only EoF AA that really stands out is RS. Anything else is pretty much person preference, I went Frontload since they boosted the line. I've noticed higher spikes, and a boost to zone wide (especially MMIS or FTH with League gear).

**Also when using Exacting, try to time it so that you'll be able to get Finishing Blow off in the last few seconds of the buff, that way you get the most out of it.

Thanks! And I already do that if the fights gonna last more than 45 seconds ( which it usually does) Once exactings up I throw in finishing blow. (This is mostly one named fights or fights with high health mobs like the Blood guys in MMIS

wouldnt you want to use malignant mark first since it has to proc though its pretty quick normally, i normally debuff and hit MM and the 3 dots so they might be up again. I dont have a lot of experiance as an assassin yet but just trying some logical things imo

I would also use Mark pretty early in the fight, since it is up again really quickly. And I think you missed Deadly Blade in your Concealment chain. I also wanna mention the Masked Attack/Puncture Blade combo, since they have the same reuse timer and are really good dmg after you did your Concealment chain.

For EoF AA go RS first, then take Frontload or just boost your buffs/debuffs. Hemotoxin boost is a must-have tho. I also went Frontload, and I quite like it.

Your right Tyrithian. I do whatever I seem to feel is right at the time though... I figured if I waited that extra 2-3 seconds I'de have my debuffs + Dispatch and whatnot and malignant mark crits more than it doesnt it seems. Also, its really situational since we have 3 people that like to take turns tanking. I've noticed if I used Malignant Mark right after cloaked assault on 2 of the three tanks the mob turns to me and gives me a few smacks lol.

Ardain your right :S I forgot to mention that I do combo Masked Attack/ Puncture Blade whenever their up...

And killing blade I throw into the concealment chain whnever its up (something like 3 minutes?)

Thanks for the AA help however, I'm kinda stuck between Front load or Bleeding, (Getaway any good by chance?) Having a 70 ranger + a 70 assassin and having to buy all my poisons off the broker as well as arrows rips apart my bank lol...=/

I really wouldn't bother taking Getaway, Bleeding is okay, but Frontload is imo the most logical choice, since you wanna get that Hemotoxin and maybe also Ingorant Bliss enhancement. So you might not have enough points to go the way down to Bleeding or Getaway. But you should just test them yourself and choose the thing that suits you best. As long as you get Repeated Stabbing you can't do much wrong. :P
